Samsung is the juggernaut and one of the most profitable companies in any industry. The South Korean-based company has established itself as a leader in Android phones with their Galaxy S series and tablet market with the Galaxy Tab series.
Years ago they were not anywhere to be found on top of any list, but now it’s hard to think of anyone else as a competitor.
Samsung’s Galaxy phones had some great models in the past that had some great features, but also a very steep price tag for what it is.

A lot of people look forward to what Samsung will come up with next and how much they’re going to improve on their newest line of phone/tablet lineup. I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for a few weeks now and it’s a great smartphone.
In addition to its market-leading hardware, Samsung has also succeeded in establishing itself as the premier Android skin maker, thanks to extra features like multi-window support and floating app windows.
The S22 Ultra stays true to this tradition, offering several unique features right out of the box. It’s clear that Samsung put a lot of effort into making its software feel special, but it doesn’t always work well with everything from Google’s OS.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra | 256GB | Rs.244,999 |
At some point, you have to wonder whether all the extra work is worth it for a device that already has plenty of power.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra brings much of the same features to the table, including its 6.8in screen size and similar 18:9 aspect ratio.
But it comes with a couple of additional tricks up its sleeve that could be worth an extra investment if you’re looking for something larger than standard size.
Samsung’s new phone comes with some of the same features found on earlier models, mainly its large 6.8in screen, along with a similar 18:9 aspect ratio that will make watching video content more enjoyable.
This is currently one of the larger available screens on the market and it sticks to Samsung’s tradition of offering phones in two sizes, with this one being the larger option.
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8in AMOLED screen, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and has 128GB of storage space, which can be expanded using the micro SD card.
Its dual-lens camera is capable of producing some clear shots in outdoor conditions, but the phone struggles in lower-light conditions and has a tendency to underexpose images.
Samsung has included a souped-up version of Samsung Pay on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which will allow users to play with other phones that support the app.
The company’s new Superfast Charge feature can provide an 80% charge in just 30 minutes.
Samsung has yet to include any kind of fast charging technology, but it does have a new feature called superfast charge. This is meant to give the phone an 80% charge in only half an hour.
This phone was released on 09 February 2022 and is available in the market. Its current price in Pakistan is 244,999.
OS Android 12 OS
This phone comes with a new android os on it called oneui 4.1 which is an excellent upgrade from the old Oreo 9 os that was running previously on most of the Samsung phones.
The colors available are interesting, they come in Phantom black, White, Burgundy, Green, Graphite and Sky Blue.
The dimensions of this phone are 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm and it weighs 228 g, which is amazing because the Phone has a huge 6.8 inch display. Recently released phones seem to be getting bigger and bigger and we think that’s good news for everyone.
Processor
Its processor is the Exynos 2200, which is used in the “lower end” Galaxy S22 phones. The CPU consists of two Cortex-X2 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz (versus four Cortex-A7s at 1.4 GHz on the other S22 models), and three Cortex-A7 cores each clocked at 2.5 GHz (versus four Cortex-A7s at 1.4 GHz on the other S22 models). That said, its CPU is a lot faster than the X960’s Dual-Core Cortex A5 ARM processor clocked at 1GHz and is based on a newer 28nm process, rather than 45nm.
Chipset
The chipset supports 4G LTE, unlike the X960.
GPU
It has a GPU called “Xclipse 920”. This is based on Imagination Technologies’ PowerVR SGX 544 architecture and offers hardware-accelerated decoding and encoding of video up to 1080p (i.e., Full HD).
If accurate, that would be a major improvement over the older Exynos models (all of which use Imagination Technologies’ PowerVR SGX 540 architecture and offer only hardware-accelerated decoding up to 720p).

It also has an always on screen feature, which makes sure that you never miss out anything important. It has corning gorilla glass
victus+ protection.
Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra also has 120Hz high refresh rate technology, HDR10+, 1750 nits (peak) display which is really amazing if you are watching movies or playing games on it.
Memory
Samsung has done something very interesting with its storage capacity by giving the user a choice between 128GB and 256GB storage options.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy S22 has four cameras, a main rear camera. It is a 108 MP Camera with 1/1.33″ sensor size and f/1.8 aperture that allows for incredible depth sensing in portrait mode shots, object tracking for sports or pets, as well as night mode that snaps long exposures without the need to hold the phone steady.
The telephoto lens on the S22 is a 10 MP camera with f/4.9 aperture that adds 3x optical zoom for closer shots, or optical zoom-to fill frame with distant subjects that are within the main cameras range of view.
It also has an additional ultra-wide angle camera which captures more of your surroundings in our shots, perfect for landscape or large group photos.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery which is the largest yet seen on an Android smartphone, which means it lasts up to 2 days of normal use. It also has fast charging support via USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Qi/PMA wireless charging for 15W which charges it up quickly. Ultra Wideband
Ultra Wideband (UWB) is an open specification for wireless devices on which all major global carriers in North America & South Korea are based.
It provides high bandwidth and low latency wireless communication for Internet of things (IoT) and mobile infrastructure.
Overall the S22 phone is a very good device, with a better display and battery life. The phone is bulky though as expected from the S-series of Samsung, so it might not be suitable for everyone as a daily driver as it’s not as ergonomic as the S10e/S10/S10+.
One more thing is with the big phone you have to carry big accessories too like a tour group, so a phone with built-in wireless charging is a plus.
S22 ultra is basically luxury for those who can afford it and can work as an office mobile device that has all the bells and whistles needed of day to day office mobile devices.
