Samsung a51 Mobile Review and Price in Pakistan

Samsung, a brand that is well-known for its contributions to the electronics industry, has recently released a new phone in its entry level range.

The Samsung a51 is an android Smartphone with 4G connectivity. A brief summary of the features and specifications of this device are described below:

Before going any further, it is important to note that the Samsung A51 is an entry level smartphone and is not powered by a Snapdragon or similar chipset. This means that this phone may lag occasionally.

Samsung has chosen a 6.5 inch display screen on this device, which makes it easy to carry around and use with one hand.

It’s also suitable for those who want a smaller Smartphone, as the larger screened versions are less easy to carry around. The screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels is best by today’s standards.

Samsung A51 is a new android phone launched by Samsung Pakistan. It has many features like high speed ram, high resolution camera, face detection, etc. This phone also includes some games to entertain you.

You can download thousands of applications using google play store. The price of this phone is very affordable according to the latest offers which are available now.

It has a 2.3 GHz Octa Core Processor which ensures fast working of the phone. You will feel good experience while using this phone.

Samsung A51 is the perfect choice for normal users who need basic functions in their phones like messaging, calling, browsing, etc.

The A51 weighs in at only 172g which is light considering its size. It’s fairly compact for what it offers, measuring 158.4 x 73.3 x 7.9 mm (height x width x thickness) with the touchscreen on.

Compared to other modern smartphones these days this phone isn’t that impressive but then again it’s not really supposed to be and I think that’s where Samsung got it just right.

The A51’s touchscreen is the highest quality one around but works just fine for the average user. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels which shows up very nicely when used.

The screen also offers 16 million colors (about 65k) that are displayed quite well with enough saturation, contrast and sharpness to make everything look good without looking unnatural or gaudy like some phones sometimes do.

The Samsung A51 comes with Android 10 OS OneUI 2.0 which does its job fairly well for this phone at least since it doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles like some other phones do.

It allows you to quickly swipe through home screens, download new apps, play music and access the internet fairly easily with simple finger gestures.

One problem I found however was that many of the applications already installed on the phone were running even when not in use which caused my battery to run out much faster than it should have done if they had been closed properly.

This probably could have been fixed with a factory reset but I’m not sure whether anyone would know about this problem beforehand so Samsung has some responsibility too for not optimizing its software for this phone at least.

The processor is one of the strongest aspects on this phone because it’s only an octa-core (4 x 2.3 GHz Cotex-A73 + 4 x 1.7 Cortex-A53) Exynos 9611 (10 nm) chip which means any more complicated tasks can be quite easy for this phone.

The A51 comes with 128GB of internal memory that is expandable using micro SD cards which would have allowed it to do much more than it does now but then again at this price point you really can’t expect everything.

The amount of storage on the phone itself isn’t too bad though so even if you download a large game or two, take photos or listen to music regularly there should still be enough space for what you need without having to delete any files constantly.

It does have some interesting features like face detection, smile detection and beauty shot however which should help to make your photos better than if you had taken them without these options enabled.

The final main feature of this phone is its connectivity options that are pretty standard for a smartphone at this price point.

It has Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB 2.0 connections that allow you to share files with other devices or connect to the internet wherever it’s available which is extremely useful especially if you plan on traveling a lot with your phone and want to be able to gain access to some basic facilities like Google Maps wherever you go.

In terms of speed, the device is very responsive when using regular apps like WhatsApp messenger, Facebook etc.

However when you use heavy games on it then you’ll notice a bit slight frame drops or stutters here and there yet it’s not very noticeable unless you know how good this phone should perform in terms of speed.

The screen is a high contrast super AMOLED panel which has a vibrant color reproduction making the experience of watching videos and playing games on this device a magnificent one with great viewing angles at all times. Overall, the build quality and design of this phone is exceptional considering it being a mid-range device from Samsung as they have always been known for their premium looking devices but now that they’re coming up with more stylish phones having metal bodies in low end to mid end specs makes them look even more good looking yet affordable by masses. The A5 comes in colors namely prism, black, and white, blue, pink.

Detailed specification

Frequency

The Samsung Galaxy A51 phone runs on GSM frequencies at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS frequencies at 850/900/1900 (AWS)/2100 MHz and LTE speeds at 2100(B1)/1800(B3)/850(B5)/2600(B38)/ 2300(B40)/2500 (B41) MHz.

Processor

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is an octa-core processor with four cores clocked 1.9 GHz and four cores clocked 1.3 GHz and a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

This gives it peak performance that competes with the Exynos 9611 (10 nm) processors and is capable of running even high intensity 3D games like Asphalt 8.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A5 has a 1080P super AMOLED display, which means vibrant colors and great contrast as opposed to an IPS LCD screen like those found on other mid-range phones.

The Galaxy A5 also manages to fit this 6.5 inch display into a small enough phone that you can easily use it in one hand.

Camera

The Galaxy A51 has an Android sensor at 48 MP and can record 1080P video while the front camera has a resolution of 32 MP and can also record in 1080P.

This makes this one of the best cameras on any budget Samsung phone released in 2019, though it falls short to the Samsung Galaxy S7’s 12 MP sensor and 1440P recording capabilities.

The camera also comes with features like phase detection autofocus (which is used for fast focusing) and a LED flash which come standard on most flagship phones, but are rare in most mid-range devices.

Battery

The battery is 4,000 mAh which should be enough for 2 days of standby or 1 hour of talking time. This happens because the screen consumes most power so if you keep brightness level low then you might get even better results.

Overall this phone offers great value for money given its price point – it has all basic features including NFC and there are also some bonus ones like hot-swap SIM support.

If you’re not planning to use it for gaming then it’s still good enough for office tasks, simple browsing or checking your social media accounts.

Memory

The internal storage is 128 GB and also a micro SD card slot is available. You can install some apps on the SIM card (media files require less space), which leaves roughly 6GB free for apps/games once all system files are added – that’s not much and that’s why I recommend buying a new micro SD card with at least 32 GB capacity.

This can be done without opening the phone thanks to its hot-swap ability, which is very useful – most users will need more than 8GB though so it might be worth getting 16 or even 32GB if you don’t want to think about transferring data off and on all the time.

Features

Samsung A51 provides good quality sound with its 3.5 mm Audio Jack which allows you to hear a clear voice while calling.

This phone also includes FM Radio with recording option for entertainment. It has a long lasting battery which can be charged very quickly, so you do not have to wait a long time for charging it.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is an excellent mid-range phone with a display that matches many flagship smartphones from 2019, a fingerprint scanner, good camera features and specs and is capable of running most apps released in 2019 easily even though its processor falls short of those found in flagships from last year.

In addition, the memory storage capabilities of this phone are more than most budget phones released in 2019 and the battery life of this device is more than most devices from last year.

In addition, the build quality of the Galaxy A5 looks premium with its glass back cover though some users have noted that it can feel a bit slippery at times. Price of Samsung galaxy A5 in Pakistan is 49,999, which is reasonable if you need more specifications and features.
